Punch Lists

Close out the job — every deficiency tracked, assigned, and signed off.

A project-scoped punch list that runs the whole closeout: capture items with photos, assign them to a subcontractor, crew, or technician, let the owner add their own (you approve first), and issue signable revisions the architect can sign off on. Nothing slips between "almost done" and "done".

What you get

Project punch list with locations, trades, priorities, and photos
Assign items to a subcontractor, a crew, or an individual tech
Customers add items from the portal — moderated before they hit the list
A clear lifecycle: open → in progress → ready for review → verified
Signable revisions (Rev A/B/C) with owner / architect sign-off
Branded PDF export of the live list or any issued revision

01

One list for everything left to fix

Walk the site, log each deficiency with a location, trade, priority, and photos, and the whole list lives in one place instead of a clipboard and three group chats. Every item carries a running number and a completion bar shows exactly how close the job is to done.

  • Items grouped by status with a live completion percentage
  • Photos captured on-device and attached to each item
  • A per-item audit log: who created, assigned, completed, and verified it

02

Assign the fix to whoever owns it

Punch items go to the party responsible — a subcontractor (who updates it from their portal), an internal crew assigned as a unit, or a single technician. Subs can push an item to "ready for review", but only your team verifies it, so the GC keeps the final say on what counts as done.

  • Polymorphic assignment: subcontractor, crew, or technician
  • Subs update their items from the same portal they already use
  • Link an item to the work order that resolves it — punch → work order → tasks

03

Let the owner participate — on your terms

Customers can flag issues from their portal, but nothing lands on the official list until you accept it (with edits) or decline it. Then, when a phase is ready, issue an immutable revision the owner or architect signs off on, and hand them a branded PDF. The original of everything is preserved for the record.

  • Customer-proposed items are moderated, never auto-published
  • Immutable, signable revisions with a captured sign-off
  • Branded PDF of the live list or any frozen revision
